This is easy. My husband and I are currently foster parents and about to finalize our first adoption. God has laid on my heart the passion to start an Adoption support group/Bible study. This was recently approved by the Women’s Ministry at our church and has the potential to get very big! God does big things!! I would love to use this as a resource!!

Thanks so much for this website. I work at an orphanage in Mexico and enjoy reading some of the articles on here when I have free time. Thanks,

I have learned a great deal about God’s commitment and faithfulness to me by being an adoptive Mom. As I do the work required of me as an adoptive Mom, I think about the things God has done to adopt me, that I may be called a child of his. Yesterday I was praying with my three year old adopted daughter. I prayed that she would be adopted, not only by us into our family, but also by God into his family. After the prayer she informed me, she didn’t want to be adopted into God’s family because she already loves our family. I guess I have some explaining to do about the kingdom of God!

It is great to read all these comments, We have been fostering for a while but not much luck with adoption but we are waiting for God’s timing on this. It is very encouraging to see you are not alone and it is not crazy to desire to adopt and nurture a child born from your heart. Thanks!

Chris and I feel like we have been given the greatest gift in the world with our adoption of sweet Eliana! We always knew that we wanted to adopt, but the Lord started our road to adoption through a trip to Guatemala. Now, our passion for adoption grows every single day. We are all about spreading the word and challenging people to get involved!! We are working with a group of people right now on a documentary of Guatemala (www.authentikos.com)….and are also promoting our friends Gwen and Suzanne at 147millionorphans.com. We can’t wait to start another adoption soon!!

My husband and I have two boys and we believe that we are supposed to adopt. We have been on the State waiting list for almost a year now. We started fostering back in June but it hasn’t gotten us anywhere so far. I even called once to make sure they still had us on the list because I just didn’t understand why our phone wasn’t ringing. I don’t know if God is trying to teach me patience with our adoption but I feel so strongly that I am supposed to be doing SOMETHING. Maybe I am supposed to start an adoption ministry in our area. I pray that God will show me where to go and what to do.
