We are still in the process of adopting, and already we have been asked about our son's "mom", and do we "know anything about her". My first response, in my head of course, is *I* am his mom! But, most ask in innocence and I have to remember that my son has been blessed with two moms. Politically correct or not, it opens the door for me to share God's grace and His blessings in our lives. I've decided God-correct is so much more important that PC!

Thanks for posting this Josh. In our family we deal with the issue daily, from all angles of the disussion. It is good to think about why we use the words we do and how God is honored (or dishonored) by our choices.
