On October 22 the Joint Council on International Children’s Services (of which Carolina Hope is a member) issued a policy recommendation about cultural sensitivity for U.S. families traveling to Ethiopia to complete an adoption. Here’s the policy recommendation (PDF).
Carolina Hope supports these recommendations and plans to implement them for our Ethiopia Adoption Program.

Back in March I asked you to consider donating to the Ethiopian Group Home that we’re helping out. Well, I’m asking again. We’ve made some good progress, but there are many items that are still needed. Please take a look at the needs and consider making a donation.

Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency is now accepting applications for its new Ethiopia Adoption Program. Although this international adoption program has taken longer than expected to be fully operational, we are very excited to now be helping Ethiopian orphans find homes with adoptive families in the United States.
Over the weekend we received our first donations to specific needs at the Ethiopia Group Home. Check out the list of needed items to see what’s been given and what is still needed. And thanks to those who gave!
