Matt Thien’s most recent CD project 10 Songs 10 Days Africa was established to benefit the Tumaini Mission Center in Nakuru, Kenya, home to over 100 orphans. Matt spoke with us regarding the inspiration for his project and how the gospel has influenced his view of humanitarian aid and orphan care.

The journal First Things has published a marvelous article entitled “Conscience, Courage, and Children With Down Syndrome” by the archbishop of Denver, Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M Cap. Here are some excerpts, with a couple comments from me at the end.

Carolina Hope for Orphans is organizing a Christmas Tour for Ukrainian Orphans; the children will be in the States from December 26 to January 9, and host families in South Carolina (or anywhere within a 2-hour driving distance of Greenville, SC) are needed.
