Ethiopia Benefit Concert: Caedmon’s Call
On February 29 (Friday), 2008, Caedmon’s Call and Derek Webb brought their Overdressed Tour to Southside Fellowship in Greenville, SC for an evening concert. After concert costs were covered, all of the proceeds from ticket sales went to benefit Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency’s new Ethiopia program.
Thanks to Caedmon’s Call and everyone else who helped make the concert a success!
Media from the Concert
The first item is our Ethiopia video that premiered at our concert. It was created by Brannon McAllister from footage captured on our recent trip to Ethiopia. The children shown in this video live at one of the orphanages with which we work, an orphanage located in a village with 20,000+ known cases of AIDS. It’s a profoundly needy area. The video is interspersed with quotations from John Piper’s book Don’t Waste Your Life.
Here is the adoption video that Desiring God made for our concert. It features John Piper talking about adoption and why it is “bigger than the universe.”
