Duties
Making contact with families after their adoptions to help with post-adoption paperwork and to coach families through post-adoption difficulties; as Hague Coordinator, navigating the treacherous waters of agency accreditation and ensuring that all agency processes are in compliance with the standards and regulations of our accrediting body and The Hague Treaty on Intercountry Adoptions (The Hague)

Background
For much of her career, Anna has focused on families and children. In California, Anna assessed pre-schoolers in the public education system, made recommendations for teacher and parent strategies and helped them understand the individual temperament of each child. She has led groups for mothers of small children. The groups focused on helping women deal with the many stresses that accompany motherhood, and the depression and anxiety that often occur during this time. Anna came to work with Carolina Hope in 2005.

Interests
Anna is married and has two children, Max and Lillie. Anna volunteers in her daughter’s classroom, tutoring students with writing, spelling, and math. She has been on the parent advisory council for the youth ministry at her church. She enjoys being a wife and mother, as well as walking, reading, photography, and making jewelry.
