We are pleased to announce that, effective April 13, 2009, Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency has become part of Nightlight Christian Adoptions, and our office will be operated as the South Carolina branch office of Nightlight. Information on this website (www.CarolinaHopeAdoption.org) about the adoption services that were formerly provided by Carolina Hope remains accurate — but these services are now rendered by our office as a part of Nightlight Christian Adoptions. Nightlight’s International Adoption Programs

Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency is now Nightlight Christian Adoptions (see notice above).

To see Nightlight’s intercountry adoption programs, please go to the international section of Nightlight’s website.

From its start, Carolina Hope’s purpose has been to assist orphans by uniting them with loving, qualified families who have a desire to adopt. Our first international adoption program was with Ukraine, a country whose orphans we continue to serve.

Our list of intercountry programs now spans the globe and includes Eurasia (Kazakhstan and Russia), Asia (the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of China in Taiwan), Central Europe (Ukraine), Southeast Asia (Cambodia), Africa (Ethiopia), and Central America (Guatemala) — not to mention our domestic adoption services here in the United States. We can also help couples who wish to pursue an embryo adoption.

Each program is different, and the needs of the children vary from country to country. On the individual adoption program pages we give an outline of information including which children have the greatest need for adoption in a given country, what the country’s expectations are for prospective adoptive parents, and roughly how much a family should expect to spend in fees and expenses.

If you would like to request additional information about one of our international adoption programs, we invite you to fill out our information request form.

Should you find that you are not in a position to adopt but would like to financially assist an orphan or orphanage, please visit our donations page and Ethiopia group home page.
